Rob Rohrlach - General Manager - Power

robQualifications: B.Sc., B.E. (Hons.), Grad. Dip. Mktg

Rob has extensive experience in energy management and emerging technology commercialisation in Australia and international markets.

He has worked on energy and demand side management in domestic, commercial and industrial applications. His strength is in building businesses from concept to profit. He recently took Energy Response WA from concept to be the major DSM aggregator in the SWIS.

Process control in steelworks empowered Rob to always seek the most energy efficient balance in any process. Development of domestic smart technology showed how energy and demand can be reduced in every home in a smart suburb to make a difference in the community. Feasibility studies for a commercial solar farm, a pyrolysis plant and other waste-to-energy technologies have given him an appreciation of the value of clean energy.

Rob is energised when working with Australian companies and government departments as they reduce their power bills through using clean energy solutions to improve both sustainability and profit.
